Finally, Trancetribe returns! A no-bullshit night of the best in upfront and underground club trance music from some of Australia’s finest trance DJs – Scott Richardson, Rossco, and Pato De Gomah, all playing extended sets! The one night not to miss!

What is the Trancetribe Event all about:

The Trancetribe event is all about good music. It’s a no-bullshit policty at TT. No gimmicks. Just a night of good tunes from good DJs. With the return of the Trancetribe event, we’re hoping to provide a night of great, upfront and underground club trance music. We’re going to try especially hard to keep the tune selection on the night unique and interesting, and not play all your worn out anthems and vocal sing songs. That’s not to say there will be no vocal tunes, but we are gonna do our best to mix up the sets a bit and keep the tunes really fresh, or really underground As the Trancetribe punters know, a night of good trance is not about gimmicks, special features, or other bullshit – it’s just good people, smiling, happy, and dancing to good music. It’s not about worshipping a DJ, nor about being promised something so huge that it’s impossible to live up to. What we can promise is that you’ll be getting the best music from great DJs, in a quality venue, and be surrounded by like-minded people who are up for really quality trance music.

Long sets are here to stay:

Let’s face it. We know what we want when we go to a trance party – then we sit dazed and confused when promotors put 6 DJs on a lineup giving them short sets. At the Trancetribe event, we have only three DJs on the lineup. A 2hr opening set, followed by two 3hr sets. Each DJ is given the time to space their sets out, show us their transitioning skills, enabling them to play more good music that you wouldn’t ever get a chance to hear in a series of short ‘play my best 10 tunes’ style of sets. There’s so much amazing music out there, and if you don’t give the DJs the chance to play them, then you will never hear them in the environment they were written for – the club. We have some quality local DJs here, all with the ability to soak up the longer set times and showcase some great music – we’re giving them the chance.

Unlike a lot of events, we can tell you the set times well before the event kicks off. You missed two of these guys at Trance Energy due to lineup changes at the last minute, so here’s your chance to catch them in the flesh with extended sets!

10:00 – 12:00 – Pato de Gomah
12:00 – 03:00 – Scott Richardson
03:00 – 06:00 – Rossco

Each event, we’ll be cycling DJs through the set times. So at the next one, Rossco may be opening, I may be closing etc etc.

We’re going to be selling 200 presale tix prior to the event. With so much notice, I really hope to see many of you, especially those living in Sydney/Newcastle, at the event. This event is what the trance scene is about.

The Venue:

THE CROSS (The Burbon) – Kings Cross
We originally were going to use the bunker, but we upgraded to the Cross. It’s the bigger of the two club arenas at the Burbon, with a bigger sound system and bigger dance floor, and the ability for us to expand in the future if we need/want to. It’s a quality venue, with all the necessary stuff to make it good for trance.
